In 2021, the mandolin quartet MANdolinMAN will bring Gerard Walschap's rebellious classic, 'Houtekiet', to the stage.
Actor Jeroen Lenaerts brings The Wolfman to life in a gripping narrative. MANdolinMAN and electronica wizard Mathijs Bertel (Ansatz Der Maschine) enliven the performance with old melodies that, through added samples, beats, and soundscapes, sound young and fresh. Illustrations by Lot Vandekeybus are projected behind the actor and musicians, white images on a black background to avoid backlighting onstage.

The soundtrack of Wolfmens (Houtekiet) received rave reviews, reached the top 20 of the World Music Charts Europe and was awarded the Flanders Folk Award for Best Album of 2022.

The theatre production will continue to tour until June 2026.
